Youth Employability Worker
 

I joined Sid Youth in January 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in recruitment, having worked both as a high street recruiter and in internal talent management for businesses. My extensive career in recruitment has given me a deep understanding of what employers are looking for, and I now use this expertise to help young people build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the world of work.

In my role at the Employability Hub, I work closely with young people to guide them through every step of their career journey. From crafting standout CVs and cover letters to preparing for interviews and navigating the job market, I provide the practical advice and support needed to help them achieve their professional goals. My aim is to empower each individual, helping them recognise their strengths and leverage those qualities to land meaningful opportunities.

With a strong background in recruitment and networking, I also bring a wealth of industry knowledge and insights, giving young people access to a broader range of opportunities and career advice. I am passionate about ensuring that every young person I work with has the chance to thrive in their career, regardless of their background or challenges.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports, exploring creative interests, personal & professional development - all of which helps me stay motivated and brings a fresh perspective to my work.
