HAF
Holiday Activities and Food Programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) is a programme the Sid Youth run in accordance with the annual school holidays and half terms. This scheme works alongside West Sussex County Council and is fully funded by the Department of Education. The HAF is usually spread across the week(s) and includes a variety of enrichment activities, learning opportunities and a nutritious meal for those aged 11 - 16 in school, who qualify for free school meals. The HAF aims to provide a safe environment for children and young people to interact with others whilst also educating them on healthy eating and food preparation. We currently only take on 11 - 16 year olds, but if you do have younger children/siblings who are interested then please check out the official website

The feedback from previous HAF programmes showed amazing engagement from the young people and the success of the activities we provide.

' I would love to come back again in the other holidays '

' I really enjoyed doing the fun activities with my older sisters and friends '

' Love Sid Youth and all the staff are fun and caring '

At our most recent February HAF, the activities had an educational element to them, the young people were able to complete the activity in a fun but informative environment. Some of the activities we provided were beat making, money management, first aid and boxing - which was our most popular activity. Pictures of the HAF can be found

If you are interested in finding out more information about any of our HAF’s then please do not hesitate to get in touch, please                           to contact us.
